The fog of war

I made a choice a long time ago that I wanted to make a bunch of money. I wanted to be “successful.”

I walked into the arena with a clear mind, vision, and intent.

I set clear goals, and made clear plans. I took massive action on these plans and made things happen. I adjusted to what was thrown at me and made any necessary adjustments.

As time went on, my vision blurred. My intent dwindled. Distractions creeped in.

The fog of war had set in.

The only thing that can save me from this fog are my principles. My why.

You need to set a clear definition of success for yourself, a clear why, and how you will get there. Because the time will come when you can’t see any longer and the only thing that guides you are the principles you originally set for yourself. That is your map and compass.
