Keep shaving that metal
When I was a kid, I used to make knives.
I would take a file, and start shaping the metal.
It was time consuming and tedious. I would spend time looking for an easier way to shave the metal down, trying to complicate the process, but I came to the conclusion that the only way to make progress was to simply put my head down and keep filing. To put all of my focus into moving that file in the most efficient way possible.
In life, success is the metal, and the file is the thing you’re supposed to do. You cant avoid it, and spending your time trying to find a way to complicate it only prolongs the process.
You can not avoid the file. You must learn to make it as efficient as you can.
Learn to accept your file.
